DEALING WITH HARMONICS AND FLICKER

Since the standards for harmonic and flicker measurements (EN 61000-3-2 and EN 61000-3-3) became valid for the first time in January 2001, they have been constantly modified. Their limiting values have to be observed by all electric and electronic appliances that are supplied by the public low-voltage network and that have a current consumption of a maximum of 16 A per phase.

That means that this is an important subject that concerns everyone and that is difficult, too.
